Our in-house technical team provides a comprehensive Design and Specification service, backed by an extensive product portfolio that includes high-efficiency air source heat pumps, integrated hot water cylinders, and a full range of modern heat emitters.

From in-depth heat loss calculations to product specification and underfloor heating design, Grant works with installers, merchants, architects, BER’s, specifiers, engineers, electricians, suppliers and builders to develop tailored integrated heating solutions, featuring renewable heating technologies, for properties and projects of all scales and sizes.

With all heating requirements for a property available from Grant, you can streamline your workflow and ensure system compatibility from the outset, whilst helping to save valuable time on site, reduce project complexity, and deliver consistent results for your clients.

A detailed, accurate quotation outlining all required parts for your specific project will then be provided, delivered quickly and efficiently to support smooth planning, compliance requirements, and installation.

Following installation, all Grant air source heat pumps are commissioned by our team at no extra charge.

Grant offers a market-leading 25-year guarantee on the pipework in our systems. In addition to this, there is a 2-year guarantee on all mechanical and electrical components.

System designs

Once our technical team receives the project details and planning drawings, in-depth room-by-room heat-loss calculations will be carried out in accordance with S.R. 50 / MCS requirements, detailing sizing requirements for the air source heat pump and hot water cylinder. Based on selected heat emitters for the project, radiators will be sized and the underfloor heating system designed for each room of a property. Underfloor heating design includes complete pipework circuit layouts, with all components specified for the underfloor installation.

Our design service helps to reduce time, while annotated schematics and clear layout drawings provide a complete heating system specification ready integrate early into the project workflow.
