Grant Spira Pell
The Grant Spira Pell is a condensing wood pellet boiler that is easy to install with low maintenance and straightforward to operate. SEAI awarded the Spira, our first condensing wood pellet boiler “The best renewable energy product” in 2011 on its launch due to its unique twin baffle system. The Spira Pell which launched in 2022, will give some of the highest efficiencies and environmentally friendly results from biomass boilers.
The units utilise indigenous wood pellets to offer a truly environmentally friendly heating solution. Designed and manufactured from our state-of-the-art facilities in Birr, Co. Offaly, the Grant Spira range is made using high grade steel and stainless steel, with the same simplicity of operation of any boiler type and is available in outputs from 5kW to 33kW.
The original Spira was launched in 2011 and was the world’s first condensing wood pellet boiler. The new Spira Pell model includes some new and improved features including a universal hopper, rapid ignition, and user-friendly digital display.

The Grant Spira Pell model is straightforward to install and offers exceptional control through its user-friendly touch screen, which delivers clear and precise information on the system's daily operations. Additionally, the Spira Pell features an automatic internal cleaning system, making daily maintenance effortless. However, an annual boiler service is still required.
The biomass boiler is fueled by wood pellets, one of the most environmentally friendly fuel sources available. Compared to other fossil fuel heating options, wood pellets offer homeowners a more cost-effective and eco-friendly solution. Amid rising living and fuel costs, the launch of the Spira Pell model underscores Grant’s dedication to addressing the current home heating landscape.
Spira Pell boilers are available in output ranges of 5-18kW, 7-25kW and 9-33kW. Our Grant technical specialists will identify the most efficient model to suit the homeowner's heating requirements.
