The Aerona R290 combines sleek design with a modern colourway and offers an even more sustainable heat pump option by using the natural R290 refrigerant, which has extremely low Global Warming Potential (GWP).
Designed to provide efficient space heating and hot water, the Aerona R290 heat pump provides homeowners with an even more environmentally friendly heating solution and can be monitored and managed remotely using the Aerona Smart Controller.

What is R290 refrigerant?
R290 refrigerant, better known as Propane, is a natural refrigerant that is commonly used in air conditioning systems and refrigeration and is being increasingly used in air source heat pump technology. The reason for this is because R290 refrigerant is non-toxic, is odourless and has excellent thermodynamic properties which help the incredibly efficient operation of a heat pump.
