Grant Aerona³ Range of Heat Pump Accessories

Features & benefits

• The flexi-foot kit with fixings comprises of two 600mm feet. The Aerona unit is mounted onto the feet to raise the heat pump off the group while also serving as anti-vibration.
• Three sealed system kits are available in 12 litre, 18 litre and 50 litre sizes to suit all Aerona heat pump models.
• The through wall insulation kit includes insulation to fit the heavy duty 22-28mm flexi hoses used with an Aerona heat pump.
• The Hot Water Priority (up to two space heating zones) Relay, suitable for Aerona³ R32 models only, gives hot water priority over the central heating system – it allows the cylinder to fill with hot water when there is a hot water demand and when this is satisfied, the relay allows the heat pump to return to providing space heating.
• The Hot Water Priority (up to four space heating zones) Relay, suitable for Aerona³ R32 models only, is for use on heating systems with two central heating zones, such as one upstairs and one downstairs – this up to four zone hot water priority relay enables the hot water demand to be prioritised over two central heating zones instead of one.
• The Grant 7-day immersion programmer (suitable for Aerona³ R32 models only) automatically switches on the cylinder’s immersion element short a short period of time either daily or weekly to heat the water to the temperature required to provide anti-legionella protection (this programmer should be fitted with every heat pump/cylinder installation).
• The Domestic Hot Water Programmer (suitable for Aerona³ R32 models only) controls the heat pump's domestic hot water operating periods automatically.
• The EP001 wiring centre (suitable for Aerona³ R32 models only) is ideal when more than one zone needs to be connected to an Aerona³ R32 heat pump as it simplifies the wiring associated with multi-zone heating systems.
• Grant also supply a System Combined Volumiser/Low Loss Header which helps maintain correct flow rate through the heat pump and can provide suitable volume of system water. If there is no room for the Combined Volumiser/Low Loss Header, a 30 Litre External Volumiser can be supplied (for Aerona³ R32 models only) which sits behind the heat pump or 50 Litre Internal Volumisers (compatible with all Aerona models) are available to provide suitable volume for the system water.

Cylinders

Grant have a range of options to suit all needs and locations

• High efficiency high gain indirect stainless steel cylinder, with a purpose designed coil to operate efficiently and reliably with the Aerona³ ASHPs.  An option for a solar coil is also available. The cylinders are very well insulated,  and range from 200ltr to 300ltr with an ErP band available in A, B and C.
• The Aerona³ Pre-plumbed - The Grant Pre-Plumbed Cylinder is purposed designed for ease of installation and speed of install. The cylinder comes pre-wired for a 3 zone system with further options available.  It comes pre-plumbed with motorised valves, automatic by pass, cold water inlet and pressure reducing assembly.  The coil, insulation and performance of the cylinder is of the highest quality. 

Sealed System Kits

Sealed system kits are available to suit all of our Aerona³ heat pump models. These kits are available in 3 sizes, 12ltr, 18ltr and 50ltr. The kits include expansion vessel, filling loop, pressure gauge, PRV and air vent.

Flexi-foot kit with fixings

The flexi foot kit comprises of 2 x 600mm feet for mounting the Aerona³ heat pump range. These feet serve both as anti-vibration mounts and also raise the heat pump from the ground.

Through wall insulation kit

This comprises of a heavy-duty flexi hose in 22-28mm specifically designed to connect onto the Aerona³ heat pump range. Available for 6 & 10kW only.

Domestic hot water (DHW) boost kits

Our DHW time boost kit is used to control the cylinders electric immersion. The Aerona³ heat pump range will maintain the cylinder temperature at 45-55°C. The time boost kit is then used to raise the cylinders temperature once a week to provide Legionella protection.

Mag One Filter

The Grant Mag One Filter is used to prevent against breakdowns caused by both magnetic and non-ferrous particulates in the central heating system. The triple action filter collects all types of magnetites and non-ferrous debris in the system.
