A luxury new build in Holywood, Co. Down, has been equipped with a state-of-the-art Grant integrated heating package. This bespoke heating system, featuring a 13kW Grant Aerona³ R32 air source heat pump, was carefully designed to meet the specific needs of the homeowner, ensuring both efficiency and environmental responsibility.

Working in collaboration with Distinguished Homes, our Grant inhouse technical specialists aimed to create a heating system that not only provides superior performance but also delivers long-term cost savings. The result is a fully integrated Grant heating package tailored to the home's requirements, which includes the Aerona³ R32 air source heat pump, a 210-litre pre-plumbed hot water cylinder, and Uflex underfloor heating, and advanced smart controls. 

At the heart of this heating solution is the Grant Aerona³ R32 air-to-water heat pump, chosen for its ability to efficiently extract heat from the outside air. This innovative technology converts the extracted heat into energy for the home’s heating system, providing a reliable and consistent supply of warmth all year-round. The use of R32 refrigerant also ensures a lower environmental impact, aligning with the homeowner’s commitment to sustainability. 

Complementing the heat pump is the Grant 210-litre pre-plumbed hot water cylinder, which offers efficient hot water storage with minimal heat loss. Its pre-plumbed design streamlines the installation process, reducing time and potential errors, while ensuring a steady supply of hot water to meet the daily needs of the household. 

To maximise comfort, the home is equipped with the Grant Uflex underfloor heating system. This modern heating solution ensures an even distribution of warmth throughout each room, enhancing the overall living environment. Designed to operate at lower temperatures, the Uflex system is the perfect partner for the Aerona³ heat pump, further boosting the system’s efficiency.
