An impressive new build family home in Co. Offaly, owned by pediatric nurse Katie Grogan has recently installed a Grant integrated heating package to heat the new build property.

Katie’s contractors contacted us, and the Grant team of technical experts went through the house plans, calculating the heating requirements for each room and correct sizing of all recommended heating technologies, which resulted in a bespoke integrated package for the family home.

To deliver an effective yet sustainable heating solution, the Grogan family opted for a Grant Aerona³ R32 air to water, air souce heat pump, which has an ErP rating of A+++, Grant Uflex underfloor heating across two floors, a Grant pre-plumbed hot water cylinder and Grant wireless smart controls. 

The Grant Aerona³ range has an ErP of A+++ and is amongst the most efficient air to water heat pumps in Ireland and offers easy installation with its compact size. Across two floors, the Grant Uflex underfloor heating system has been installed to offer even distribution of heat throughout the entire property. The Grant smart controls system has also been added which allows the heating system to be controlled via a slim and stylish standalone thermostat or by an app on your smartphone and provides different room temperatures and different time intervals on individual heating zones, with the click of a button.

Katie says, "The technical team at Grant literally took care of everything and provided our contractors with a home heating plan for every room which included layout maps which were an absolute godsend for the build. I was also able to use the maps myself dozens of times when I was talking to kitchen designers, electricians, plumbers. It made it so much easier as all the trades knew exactly what was going on,"

The family has also seen a reduction in their heating bills, added Katie. "We’ve seen them cut by two-thirds, which is amazing."
