The Grant team recently attended one of Ireland’s largest outdoor agricultural shows, the National Ploughing Championships, in Screggan, Tullamore, Co. Offaly to showcase the growing range of Grant heating technologies.
With over 225,000 visitors over the course of three days, visitors at the event were able to discover the latest in sustainable home heating technology, learn about HVO biofuel and its role in the future of home heating and how to maximise efficiencies with fully integrated heating solutions.
Speaking about the event, Barry Gorman, National Renewable Sales Manager, said,
“The National Ploughing Championships is one of the biggest events in our calendar each year and one that we thoroughly enjoy attending. In addition to showcasing our wide portfolio of heating technologies, the team also provide home heating advice to visitors at the event.
It was encouraging this year to see a considerable amount of interest in sustainable home heating solutions, including the Aerona R290 – our most innovative heat pump - as more and more homeowners are actively seeking ways to reduce their carbon footprint and find out how they can incorporate renewable heating technologies to future-proof their home.
HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) was also a hot topic with many homeowners who currently use oil, talking to the team about using this renewable liquid fuel within their home heating system, and the benefits it brings in terms of helping to reduce carbon emissions by up to 88% compared to traditional kerosene.”
Grant heating technologies will be showcased at Self-Build Connacht, at the Galway Racecourse, on the 4th and 5th October, at Stand C22.
