Thanks to advances in burner technology and our efficient boiler designs, our entire range of Vortex condensing oil boilers are fully compliant with the next phase of the European Union’s Energy-Related Products Directive.
The new legislation, set to come into effect in September this year, will set maximum nitrogen oxides (NOx) emission levels that space heaters will need to meet, reducing the overall, NOx emissions produced from heating.
Seeking to improve air quality via a reduction in pollution, the legislation has outlined a NOx emissions target with a maximum of 120mg/kWh.
The Grant Vortex low NOx models include utility, outdoor modules, boiler house, combi and wall hung boilers all of which incorporate this new low NOx technology. The majority of components within the burners like fuel pumps, motors and control boxes remain the same as before, delivering continuity and familiarity for installers and engineers.
This latest product development once again demonstrates how Grant boilers meet the needs of the evolving market place well in advance of new legislation and changes.
Think Boilers. Think Grant.
