The Grant EZ-Fit flue system is now compliant with the new CE standard for Flues, having put our EZ-Fit systems through rigorous product testing earlier this year.

From 1 July 2013, under the Construction Products Regulation 2011 (CPR), it will become mandatory for manufacturers to draw up a declaration of performance and apply CE (“Communauté Européenne/European Community) marking to any products which conform to the European Technical Assessment (ETA) issued. It will be illegal to sell any non CE marked products after this date.
Grant have been ahead of the game for some time, taking the initiative to adhere to the CE marking on, not just the flue products, but the whole Grant range. The process for testing is lengthy and complex, taking approximately six months, so is a big investment, both in time and money.
