Grant announces agreement with Birr GAA for naming rights of St. Brendan’s Park

Grant has announced an agreement with Birr GAA for the naming rights for what will now be known as, Grant Heating St. Brendan’s Park.

Following many years of supporting Gaelic Games in Offaly including Offaly GAA and other clubs throughout the county, this is a natural next step for Grant whose headquarters is located close to the park.

Speaking about the agreement Niall Fay, CEO, Grant said;

“We are delighted to partner with Birr GAA and to play a supporting role in the development of Gaelic Games across the county. This partnership will deepen our links within our local community and help with the future development of the Grant Heating St. Brendan’s Park which hosts Hurling, Camogie and Gaelic football matches throughout the year.”

Established in 1909, Birr GAA is located in the heart of Offaly with St. Brendan's Park being regarded as the traditional home of Offaly hurling. With four All Ireland Championships, seven Leinster titles and 22 county championships, Birr GAA club is a hurling stronghold within Offaly and Leinster.

On behalf of Birr GAA, William Rigney Cathaoirleach of Biorra CLG said;

“This new partnership with Grant will help develop our facilities here in Birr to the highest standard and promote Gaelic Games. We look forward to welcoming all supporters to Grant Heating St. Brendan’s Park in the near future.”
